The approved project consists of:
- Old agricultural house with 4 bedrooms for accommodation;
– 8 accommodation units with independent entrance and with capacity between 2 to 4 people. Each accommodation has a living room, a bedroom, toilet and a kitchenette. The approved project proposes the construction of a tourism unit in rural areas, classified as agro-tourism that will be implemented on a plot of land with a total of 287,280 (square meters).
– River Beach;
- Construction of a swimming pool;
- Development of landscaped areas between the accommodation spaces, with space for events;
– Pedagogical farm associated with the production of organic vegetables.

The entire construction of the project will have a geographical and cultural identity, and the building will have a contemporary rural form, but traditional materials and techniques of construction of this region will be used.

Construction will take into account the use of renewable energies, in particular solar energy. The issue of sustainable mobility was also taken into account in the project, i.e. the entire tourist route in the village is possible on foot, bicycle and/or in electric vehicles.
This property also has the option of being acquired through the acquisition of a company, as well as the title of purchase of properties composed of 4 fractions, being 3 rustic and 1 Urban.

Recovery of the Agro-forestry area.

Projects approved and granted by PRODER 2030 and framed in the planning and recovery of settlements, namely through the following specific measures:

– Installation of an orchard of medronheiros, natural species of the Algarve region. This species has a promising future as it contributes to soil and water conservation, minimizing land erosion. The medronheiro is also a species resilient to fire and the fruit has a high economic value in the region. The intervention area was 17,197 hectares inserted in the National Ecological Reserve and the forest resettlement had a 5×5 compass, i.e., 400 plants per hectare.
- Planting of a pine forest, a species common in Portugal. The planted species was the meek pine and the same prevents the erosion of the land, obtaining non-woody material, such as pine cone and pine nuts with high economic value in the region. The intervention area was 17,197 hectares inserted in the National Ecological Reserve and the forest resettlement had a 6×3 compass, that is, 555 plants per hectare.
